Ingredients:
Cinnamon Rolls
2 C Warm Water
1/2 C Sugar
4 Tsp Yeast
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1/3 canola
6-7 C Flour
Filling:
1 C Sugar
1 T Cinnamon
Orange Zest
1T Orange juice
Frosting:
1 8 oz of softened cream cheese
1 C powdered sugar
1/4 C Milk
1 Tsp Vanilla
a little orange zest
2 tsp orange juice.
Directions:
Put your warm water in a bowl and add your yeast. Make sure it is dissolved. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Then add your sugar and salt. Mix it. Add the oil, 2 eggs and 2 cups of flour beat until smooth. Stir in 3 more cups of flour. Begin kneading dough. Adding the final cup of flour. If it's still sticky keep adding flour a little at a time. Do not over mix it. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes. While it's resting you can make the mix.
In a bowl mix your cinnamon and sugar. Then roll out your cinnamon roll dough to a rectangle. Spread your butter, then zest over the dough so it's sprinkled over it. Then take a tablespoon of the juice and drizzle it over the dough. Roll it up into a tube-like roll. Slice and put it in a 9x13 buttered dish. Cover and let rise in a warm spot for 45 minutes. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until done. Take it out and let it cool. While it's cooling you can work on the frosting.
In a bowl combine your cream cheese, milk, vanilla, orange zest, 2 tsp orange juice and confectioners' sugar. Mix till combined. When rolls are cooled pour on top of them. Eat and enjoy!
