Homemade Corndogs
* I will eventually be making a gluten free version*
Ingredients:
Hot Dogs
Popsicle Sticks
Batter
1 C Flour
1 C Corn Meal
1 tsp Garlic Salt
1/2 T Sugar
1 Tsp Honey
4 Tsp Baking Powder
1 1/2 C Milk
Directions:
Combine all the dry ingredients, then add honey and milk. Whisk until combined. Now get a saucepan half full of oil and get it heating up. Take a large glass and fill it 3/4 of the way with batter. Take a hot dog and put in the sticks. Now take each hot dog and stick it in the glass of batter and lift up. When oil is heated slowly put the corn dog in. You can do a few at a time. You will need to use tongs to make sure it gets even cooking. Finish all the hot dogs. Put on paper towel. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
