Maple Bacon Coffee Cake
Ingredients:
1 1/2 C Flour
1 Egg
1/4 C Canola Oil
3/4 C Sugar
1/2 C Milk
1/4 C Maple Syrup
2 Tsp Vanilla
Candied Bacon
Bacon
Brown Sugar
Maple Syrup
Directions:
Put a cooling rack on top of a cookie sheet and spray it with nonstick spray. Now lay down your bacon and brush both sides with maple syrup and sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Take it out and let it cool. Once it is cool you can chop it up and set it aside.
Now mix all of your coffee cake ingredients and pour into a greased glass baking dish. Now in a bowl add oats, brown sugar and drizzle butter in it and top the coffee cake with it. Then add your candied bacon. Bake it at 350 till you stick a knife in and it comes out clean. Serve with warm maple syrup.
