Sandwich Rolls
Ingredients:
1/2 C Warm NOT hot water
2 1/4 Tsp Yeast
1 T Sugar
1 1/2 C Warm NOT hot water
1/3 C olive oil
4 C Flour
3 T Sugar
2 Tsp Salt
Directions:
In a bowl add your 1/2 C of warm water, yeast and sugar. Mix gently and let it sit for 5 minutes to let the yeast activate. Once its bubbling and foamy add in your 1 1/2 C of warm water, olive oil, flour, sugar and salt. Mix till it forms a ball of dough. Get a bowl and grease it. Take your ball of dough and put it in the bowl rolling it around to coat it. Cover it with a cloth or paper towel and let it double. Once it has doubled you can take it and put it on a cutting board. Cut it into 8 pieces or more. Take those 8 pieces and shape them into balls. Put them on parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Cover and let it rise about 10 minutes. Bake at 350 till they are golden brown. Take them out and put them on a cooling rack. Brush with butter.
