Ham and Cheese Pastry
Ingredients:
1 Pastry sheet
3 Thick cut slices of ham of the bone
1 block of Velveeta
1/4 c milk
2-3 T of butter
Course Sea Salt
Directions:
Take your pastry sheet that is thawed and lay it flat on a cookie sheet. Dice up your Velveeta and put it in a saucepan with 1/4 cup of milk. Heat it up till you have a cheese sauce. Let it sit with no heat underneath it. Take a knife and on the two outside of the pastry sheet slice fringes. Dice up your ham and put it in the middle part. Then take your cheese sauce and pour it all over the ham. Now take one fringe and lay it down over the ham and then alternate with the other side till it's a braided look. You want the ends closed so none of the goodness will leave.
Take about a tablespoon of butter and drizzle over the top. Sprinkle with course sea salt. Bake at 350 till pastry is golden brown.
