Buffalo Chicken Mac N Cheese


Buffalo Chicken Mac N Cheese

Ingredients:

*This recipe utilizes Buffalo Chicken Dip. So, you get two meals out of one*

 
Ingredients:

Crock Pot Buffalo Chicken Dip

3 Chicken Breasts

1 Package of cream cheese

1 C Buffalo Hot Sauce

1/2 C Ranch

1 C Cheese

Mac N Cheese Ingredients:

1 box of spiral pasta

2 C of the chicken dip

2 C Cheddar

1 T Garlic Powder

1 T Cracked Pepper

Salt to taste


Directions:

In a crock pot cook your chicken till its easy to shred. High for about 4 hours. When the chicken is shredded add in your cream cheese in chunks into the crock pot. Then add your hot sauce and ranch. Add half a cup of cheese and mix together as best as you can. Cook it for a few more hours stirring every few minutes till cream cheese has melted. Add the rest of the cheese and cook till its melted. 

Now for the Mac n Cheese:

Boil your pasta according to the box and drain it. Add it back to the pan, add your two cups of dip, heavy cream and cheddar cheese. Mix till combined and all the cheese has melted.

Camp Stew

* This recipe was created during one of my childhood family camping trips. It holds a lot of good memories for me. So, I want to share this recipe with you. I miss you, Dad. *

Ingredients:

2 lbs. of ground beef

Can of Corn or frozen corn

Potatoes sliced thin


Directions:

In a skillet brown your ground beef and set it aside. Cut your potatoes thin and add them to a skillet and cook them till almost done. Add back the ground beef and add corn. Cover and cook till the potatoes are done and everything is cooked.

Broccoli Cauliflower Salad

 


Broccoli Cauliflower Salad

Ingredients:

1 Head of broccoli or 2 bags of already chopped broccoli

1 head of cauliflower or two bags of chopped

Spinach (optional) 

1 bottle of ranch

1 package of bacon pieces

Shredded cheese

Directions:

Chop up your broccoli, cauliflower and spinach into bite size pieces and add it to a bowl. Add your bacon and cheddar cheese. Take a medium bottle of ranch and add it to the vegetables. Stir till combined.  It is that easy and so very good. I can eat so much of this.

Broccoli Cheddar Soup

                                                                     







Broccoli Cheddar Soup

Ingredients:

Fresh Broccoli chopped small. I buy a bag of already chopped I just chop it more. 
1/2 C Butter
1/3 C Flour
(Will be trying to make this gluten free soon)
Spoon Full of garlic 
(If you want a measurement, I will say 1 T)
2 Tsp Salt
2 Tsp cracked pepper
2 Tsp Garlic powder
2 C Chicken Broth
2 C of Heavy Cream
2 C Cheese

Directions:

In a saucepan add butter, while it is melting put flour in a bowl with seasonings. Once the butter has melted then you need to add the flour mixture. Whisk till the flour has been absorbed by the butter. Now slowly add in the chicken broth, heavy cream and cheese. Whisk as you add it in so its combined and smooth. Then add your broccoli. Cook on low till broccoli is tender. Serve with garlic bread

* Low Salt option is to use a no salt broth. This will help keep the salt low minus what is in the cheese*

Bacon BBQ meatloaf

                                                                     


Bacon BBQ meatloaf

Ingredients:

2 lbs. of ground beef

1 1/2 C panko or oats

2 eggs

1 C BBQ sauce

2 Jalapenos chopped

2 T Salt

2 T Pepper

9 slices of bacon

2 C Cheese


Toppings:

1 C Brown Sugar

Sprinkle of red pepper flakes

1 C BBQ Sauce


Directions:

In a bowl mix ground beef, salt, pepper, 1 cup of BBQ sauce, jalapeno peppers, eggs and panko (or oats) and mix till combined. Set it aside and preheat the oven to 400 degrees. 


Take a cookie sheet and lay the 9 slices of bacon down, one right next to each other no spaces. Take your meat mixture and put it on top of the bacon and spread it out so it covers the bacon. Take your cheddar cheese and sprinkle over the top of the meat. Now here is the tricky part. You will now roll the bacon and meat up. Take one side making sure you have the bacon and meat together and roll it up slow and tight. It is tricky so do not feel defeated if you cannot get it the first time. When you get it rolled up make sure it is tucked. 

Get a pan with sides and lay a cooling rack inside and spray with nonstick spray. Now gently lay your meatloaf on top. Now get your brown sugar and pat it all over the bacon. Top with red pepper flakes.  Put it in the oven till bacon is looking crispy. When there is about 10 minutes left you will brush it with BBQ sauce and bake it till its caramelized. Take it out of the oven and let it rest. Carefully move it to a platter and enjoy.

Cheeseburger Quesadillas

                                                                     


Cheeseburger Quesadilla

Ingredients:

2 lbs. of Ground Beef

2 T Garlic

2 T Onion Powder

2 T Garlic Powder

1T Worcestershire Sauce

Salt and Pepper to taste

1 Tsp Steak seasoning

Tortillas

Toppings:

1 cup Chopped Pickles

1 Onion chopped

cheddar cheese

Sauce:

1 C Ketchup

1/2 C Mustard


Directions:

In a skillet brown your ground beef, add seasonings and garlic. Set the ground beef aside. In a bowl mix up your sauce and chop toppings. Get a skillet and butter one side of it and place butter side down in the skillet. Spread the sauce on one side sprinkle with cheese, add ground beef mixture. Add toppings and a little more sauce and cheese. Butter another tortilla and place it on top butter side up. Brown both sides. Cut into triangles and enjoy!

Chicken Jalapeno Corn Soup

                                                                     


Chicken Jalapeno Corn Soup

Ingredients:

2 Chicken breasts cooked and shredded

(or you can use a rotiserary chicken)

2 chopped jalapenos no seeds

1 bag of frozen corn

1 lb. of bacon diced up

32 oz chicken broth

2 C Heavy Cream

1 Tsp Red Pepper flakes

Spoonful of garlic 

1 bag of diced frozen potatoes

salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

I use the crockpot usually to cook my chicken, but you do not need to. Once your chicken is cooked shred it and add it to a saucepan. In a skillet add your diced bacon, red pepper flakes and diced jalapenos.  Cook till bacon is cooked. Drain any fat off and put it on a paper towel. In the saucepan with your chicken add your bacon mixture, add potatoes, corn, broth and seasonings. Let it cook till potatoes are done. Now add your heavy cream and cheese and heat till melted.  Enjoy!!

Jalapeno Popper Potato Salad

                                                                     


Jalapeno Popper Potato Salad


Ingredients:

2 lbs Red Potatoes

1 lb of bacon

16 oz sausage

1 block of cream cheese softened

2 C Sour Cream

2 C Cheddar

5 jalapenos chopped

6 green onions chopped

1/2 red onion chopped

3 T garlic powder

2 tsp Salt

2 tsp pepper

3 T Dill 

Directions:

Dice your red potatoes and put them in a sauce pan to boil.  While it is boiling, brown your sausage. When sausage is done, then you can cut up your bacon into small pieces and crisp it up. Make sure the sausage and bacon is well drained of grease. When the potatoes are soft but not super soft, then drain them and rinse them with cold water and put in a bowl. In another bowl combine your cream cheese, sour cream till it is mixed well. Add jalapenos, onions, seasonings, bacon, sausage and mix well. Add in your potatoes and combine everything together. 

This will be even better the next day.

Pico De Gallo

                                                                 


Pico De Gallo

Ingredients:

1 lb. Roma Tomatoes 

2 jalapenos

1 red onion

1 C Cilantro

1 T cumin

1T Salt

1 Lime

Directions: 

A food processor makes this much easier, but you can chop if you feel like it.  Take your roma tomatoes and slice and remove seeds and add to food processor. Take jalapenos and take all the seeds out and add them to the tomatoes. Chop up your onion and add it to the processor. Add the lid and chop till its small. Put it all in a bowl and add seasonings and lime juice. Stir and enjoy.

Pizza Lasagna

                                                                     


Pizza Lasagna

Ingredients:
1 box of lasagna noodles
2 packages of sausage
1 pepper chopped
1 onion chopped
1 can diced tomatoes Italian style
1 T Olive oil
Jar of pizza sauce
Pepperoni
Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese
2 Cups of sour cream
1 T garlic
1 T Italian herbs

Directions: 
Brown both packages of sausages and set aside. Take a small saucepan and add a drizzle of olive oil. Turn it on a medium to low heat. Chop up your peppers, onions and garlic in the saucepan. Cook them for a bit and add your Italian herb seasoning and in diced tomatoes drained and cook on low. Once the peppers and onions are cooked add in your pizza sauce. Set it aside. 

Boil noodles or use oven ready noodles. Take out a baking dish lay down a bottom layer of noodles add sauce, sprinkle with sausage, add sour cream, keep layering till you reach the top. Sprinkle with cheese and pepperoni. Bake at 400 covered for an hour then take off the foil and let the cheese brown,

Stuffed Alfredo Shells


 Stuffed Alfredo Shells

Ingredients:

1 box of large shells

1 jar of Alfredo sauce

2 cups of shredded chicken

1/2 C Shredded Parmesan

1/2 C Cheddar Cheese

3 T Garlic


Directions:

Cook your shells and drain them well and let them cool so you can handle them. While your shells are cooking and cooling, you can work on your filling. Take your already shredded chicken and put it in a bowl. Add your jar of alfredo sauce, cheese and garlic. Mix to combine it all. Once they are combined and the shells are cooled you can stuff the shells with alfredo mixture. Put them in a 9x13 baking dish and cook till the filling is heated and bubbly. Let them cool before serving. Serve with a salad and garlic bread.

Pulled Pork Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients:

2 C Pulled Pork 
Kors Steak Fajita Rice
1 C Pico De Gallo
1 C Sour Cream
1 C Shredded cheese
Romaine Lettuce

Directions:
Take your favorite pulled pork or even shredded chicken and put it in your lettuce wrap. Add rice, Pica De Gallo, sour cream and cheese. Simple and yummy.

Spinach Leek and Brussel Sprouts

                                                                     


Spinach Leek and Brussel Sprouts 

Ingredients:

1 bunch of Brussel sprouts

1 package of bacon

1 bag of spinach raw

1 leek 

Garlic 

Directions:

Dice up your bacon and start frying it. Drain some of the grease. Chop up your Brussel sprouts, leeks, garlic, spinach and set it aside. When the bacon is crispy add all the veggies except spinach. Cook till the Brussel sprouts are cooked but not smooshy. Once it's done add a little more bacon grease and then add spinach. Cook slightly. You do not want soggy vegetables. Pantry Taco Soup

Ingredients:

Two Large Cans of Tomato Sauce

2-3 Lbs. of Ground Beef

1 bag of frozen corn

1 can of Rotel drained

1/4 C Taco Sauce

Taco Seasoning packet or make your own below

2-3 T cilantro cut up

1/4 C half and half

32 oz of beef broth

Taco Seasoning Homemade:

2 T Chili Powder

2 Tsp onion Powder

2 Tsp Cumin

1 Tsp Salt

2 Tsp smoked paprika

1 Tsp pepper

Directions:

First mix your taco seasoning if you are making it homemade and set it aside. Now brown your ground beef and set it aside. In a pot add your tomato sauce, corn, taco sauce, rotel, taco seasoning, cilantro, half/half, broth, and ground beef. Stir till combined. Cook on low making sure you stir often.

American Chop Suey

Ingredients:

1 Box of Elbow Mac

1 Jar of spaghetti Sauce

2 lbs. of ground beef

Directions:

Brown your ground beef and drain the grease. Next add your spaghetti sauce to the ground beef. Boil your noodles and strain them. Add them back to the saucepan and then add your ground beef mixture to the pasta and mix till combined. Enjoy!

BBQ Chicken Pizza

                                                                 

            

BBQ Chicken Pizza

Ingredients: 

Pizza Dough:

1 C Warm Water

2 1/4 Tsp Yeast

2 Tsp Olive Oil

1/2 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp Garlic Powder

2 1/2 C Flour


Toppings: 

2 Grilled or cooked Chicken breasts shredded 

1 1/2 C BBQ Sauce

Shredded Mozzarella


Directions:

In a bowl mix your warm water and yeast till it dissolves. Add in your olive oil, flour, salt and garlic powder. Mix it till it becomes a soft dough. Knead for 2 minutes and put it in a warm spot to rise till its doubled about an hour.  Take your pizza pan out and drizzle with olive oil and spread it all over. Spread your dough one its doubled in size.

Cut up or shred your chicken and mix half a cup of BBQ sauce with it.  On your pizza dough spread the rest of the BBQ sauce. Add chicken then top with cheese. bake at 350 till pizza dough is done and cheese is melted.

French Fried Onion Meatloaf

Ingredients:

3 lbs. of ground beef
2 eggs
1/3 C Grated Parmesan
Sprinkle of Salt and Pepper
2 T Garlic Salt
1/4 C chopped Onion
1/3 C Ketchup
1/2 C panko 
1 C Oats

Toppings:

2 Cups of BBQ Sauce
1 C French Fried Onions

Directions:

In a Stand mixer or by hand mix your ground beef, egg, parmesan, seasonings, onion, ketchup, panko and oats. Once its mixed well form it in a loaf shape on a pan lined with aluminum foil. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Then take it out and cover it with BBQ sauce and bake it for another 20 minutes. Top with French fried onions.

Drizzled Blueberry Bars

Ingredients:

1 C White Sugar

1 Tsp baking powder

3 C Flour

1 1/2 C Butter

1 egg

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp cinnamon 

1/4 tsp nutmeg

4 cups of blueberries

1/2 cup white sugar

3 tsp Cornstarch


Icing:

1 C Powdered Sugar

1/2 C Milk


Directions:

In a bowl combine your sugar, baking powder, flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg,1 cup of butter and an egg. You need a pastry cutter or use a butter knife and a fork to make it crumbly. Save 1/2 cup of butter for later. In a bowl mix your 1/2 cup of sugar, cornstarch and blueberries, take a baking dish and spray it with nonstick spray. Put half your flour mixture on the bottom and smoosh it down to make a bottom layer. Take your half cup of butter and melt it drizzle over the crust and save some of the butter for later. Pour all of your blueberries on bottom layer. Then add the rest of the flour mixture on top patting it down. Drizzle rest of butter on top. Bake at 350 till golden brown. Cool completely before putting icing on it. 

In a bowl mix your powdered sugar, and milk and whisk it smooth. Pour it in a baggy and snip the end. Drizzle over the bars. You can serve this with whip cream or ice cream.

Maple brown sugar Churros

                                                              


Maple Brown Sugar Churro

Ingredients:

1 C Water
2 1/2 T Sugar
1/2 Tsp Salt
2 T oil
2 T Maple Syrup
1 C Flour
1 T Brown Sugar
Oil for deep frying

*Pastry bag with star tip*

Topping:

1/2 C Sugar

Directions:

In a saucepan put your water, white sugar, salt and oil and heat till boiling. Take off heat. Add in your maple syrup and stir. Then add your flour and brown sugar till it forms a ball.  Put it in a pastry bag and set it aside.  Heat up your oil to 350 degrees. You want them to fry and rise to the top as soon as it hits the oil. Take your pastry bag and squeeze to make strips into the oil using scissors to cut them. Deep fry till golden and then toss in sugar. Keep doing this till it's done.  Serve with warm maple syrup

Brownie Swirl Cheesecake

                                                                                                                              


        Brownie Swirl Cheesecake

Ingredients:

Brownie Crust:

Box of favorite brownie mix

Cheesecake:

2 packages of 8 oz cream cheese
1/2 C sugar
1/4 C Flour
3 eggs
1 C Sour Cream
1 Tsp vanilla 
Bag of chocolate chips

Whipping Cream:

Carton of heavy whipping cream
2 1/2 T Sugar
3 Tsp Vanilla

Chocolate Strawberries:

Strawberries
Dipping Chocolate

Directions: 

Mix up your brownie batter how it says on the box. Line the bottom of the spring form pan with parchment paper so you can easily get the crust off.  Pour it into your springform pan. Bake for 15 minutes and take out of the oven. 




In a bowl mix your cream cheese, sugar, flour, eggs, sour cream and vanilla till its smooth. Pour it on top of the brownie batter. Now take a double boiler or microwave and melt half a bag of the  the chips. Pour it on top of the batter and use a knife to make a swirl pattern. Put it in the oven at 350 for 55 minutes until its firm in the middle. Let it cool on a cooling rack for 20 minutes



Now in a clean mixing bowl add your heavy whipping cream, sugar and vanilla till it comes to a stiff peak. Set it aside. Melt your other half of chocolate chips and dip your strawberries in it for the top. Add whip cream to the top and enjoy!!!

Bruschetta

                                                                     


Bruschetta

Ingredients:

Two tomatoes diced and seeds removed

10 chopped kalamata olives

1 C Feta Cheese

1/2 C Chopped Purple Onions

3 Basil Leaves Chopped

1 Tsp Olive Oil

3 Cloves of garlic chopped

French Bread

Directions:

Dice your tomatoes and remove seeds. Add them to a bowl. Then chop the olives, onions and basil and add it to the bowl. Now add feta, garlic and olive oil. Mix together. Serve with ciabatta bread or French bread.

Ingredients:

Half a box of Pasta

2 Diced and seeded tomatoes

10 or so chopped kalmata olives

8 chopped basil leaves

1/2-1 C Feta Cheese

1/3 C Olive Oil


Directions:

Boil your pasta and strain it and run cold water over it. Add it to a bowl. Add your diced tomatoes, olives, basil, feta, and olive oil. Mix well. Enjoy

Ingredients:

2-3 Chicken Breasts

1 C Buffalo Sauce

Sandwiches:

1 loaf of sourdough bread

cheddar

ranch

shredded chicken

butter


Directions:

In your crock pot add your chicken and your buffalo sauce and cook on high for 4-6 hours. Then shred chicken. Take two pieces of bread spread butter on the outside of the bread and place it butter side down. Add shredded buffalo chicken and two slices of cheddar. Butter the second slice and place it butter side up.  Cook till each side is golden brown. Cut in half and enjoy

Buffalo Chicken Won Ton Cups

Ingredients:

3-4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

1 Bottle of Franks Buffalo sauce

1 package of Won Ton Wrappers

Shredded cheddar Cheese


Directions:

Put the chicken in the crockpot along with the buffalo sauce.  Cook on high for 3-4 hours. You want the chicken to be able to easily shred. After its cooked shred it and let it soak up the sauce. Take a muffin tin and push the won ton wrappers in it. Bake for 5 minutes. Be careful they burn easy. After they have baked, then take them out and put them on a cookie sheet. Place shredded chicken in each up. Cover each one with cheese. Bake at 350 till cheese is melted. Serve with ranch.

Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwiches

                                                                    


 

Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwiches

Ingredients:

Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
2 C Buttermilk
2 C Flour
2 Tsp Garlic Salt
Salt and Pepper to season 
1 inch of oil for frying

Sandwiches:
Fried chicken breasts
Rolls
Leaf Lettuce 
Coleslaw (Optional)

Directions:

In a pan put about 2 inches of oil and let it sit while you prepare ingredients. Grab two bowls, put buttermilk in one, and flour/garlic salt in another.  Set it aside.  Now take your boneless skinless chicken breasts and but them in half. Pound them till they are thin.  Once you have done the chicken you can prepare to fry them. Take each one and salt and peppered each side. Toss it in flour then in buttermilk, then flour again. Now put them in the oil. Flip them over when its golden brown on each side. About 5 min each side. Repeat till chicken is all done.  Place them on a paper towel and prep the sandwiches. 

Take your roll and place your chicken, lettuce, coleslaw and top it with a roll. Eat and enjoy!

Cheddar Bacon Mac N Cheese

                                                                 

            

  Cheddar Bacon Mac N Cheese


Ingredients:

1 Box of Rotini Noodles

1 Box of Velveeta Chopped

1 package of shredded colby jack cheese

3 T Butter

3 T Flour 

1/2 C Milk

1 C Half and Half

2 Tsp Garlic Salt

1/4 C Chopped bacon


Toppings:

Cheddar Jack

Bacon Crumbles


Directions:

Boil your noodles and set them aside.  In a saucepan melt 3 T butter and add your flour. Whisk till butter soaks up the flour. Add your milk and half/half.  Whisk till it thickens. Add in your Velveeta and your colby jack cheese. Add your garlic salt and bacon crumbles. Stir till cheese melts into a nice smooth sauce. Pour on top of noodles and mix it up. Pour it into a baking dish. Top with more cheese and more bacon. Bake at 350 till cheese is melted and its bubbling.

Cheddar Bread

                                                                 



Cheddar Bread

Ingredients:

1/2 C Warm Water

2 1/4 Tsp Yeast

1 T Sugar

1 1/2 C warm water

1/3 C olive oil

5 C Flour

2 Tsp Salt

3 T Sugar

1/4 C Cheddar

Directions:

In a bow or stand mixer bowl add a half cup of warm water, yeast and 1 T of sugar. Stir it up gently and let it sit for a few minutes. Then add your 1 1/2 C of warm water, oil, flour, salt and sugar. If you are using a stand mixer, use your dough hook. Let it mix together till it forms a nice ball.  You do not want it too sticky or dry. Place your ball of dough in a greased bowl and place it in a warm area and let it rise for an hour.  Once its risen you will punch it down and split the dough in half.  This will make two loaves. Take one and form it into a loaf and put it in a greased loaf pan and do the same with the second. Sprinkle both with cheddar cheese. Bake until bread is golden brown and no longer doughy.

Ingredients:

2 C Flour

1 T Baking Powder

1 Tsp Salt

1/3 C Butter cut small

1 C Cheddar Jack shredded

1/4 C sour cream

2 tsp parsley

2 tsp dill

1 tsp garlic sea salt

1 C Milk


Directions:

In a bowl combine your flour, baking powder and salt. Mix it up and add your chopped butter and cut it into pebbles with a pastry cutter or mixer. Add in your sour cream, milk and mix it up. add your cheese and herb mixture. Mix again gently till all combined. Get out a cookie sheet. Take a spoon and drop the biscuits on the cookie sheet. Bake at 350 till they are done. Enjoy!

1 bag of crinkle cut fries

2-3 lbs. of ground beef

1 cream of chicken soup

1 cream of cheddar soup


Directions:

Brown your ground beef and drain it. Put it in a bowl and put in your cream of soup mixes.  Mix it up and put it in a baking dish. Top with crinkle cut fries. Bake at 350 till bubbly and fries are done.

Ingredients:

2 lbs. ground beef

Mashed Potatoes (Instant or homemade)

2 cans of corn

Cheddar cheese

Crumbled Bacon


Directions:

Make your instant or real mashed potatoes and set aside. Now brown your ground beef and put it in the bottom of a baking dish. Add your corn and then top with mashed potatoes. Next take your cheddar cheese and sprinkle it on the top and then add bacon. Bake at 350 till cheese is melted.

Cheesy Potatoes

Ingredients:

1 bag of cubed hashbrowns southern style
1 medium sour cream
1 can of cream of chicken soup
2 bags of cheddar jack cheese
1/2 stick of butter
1 tsp pepper

*Make sure the hashbrowns are thawed out first*

Directions:

In a large bowl get your hashbrowns and add them. Pour in your melted butter, garlic salt, and pepper and mix it up. Then add sour cream and cream of chicken soup and mix together. Add your 2 bags of cheese and mix till combined. Put it in a 9x13 and spread it out. Bake at 350 until bubbly and golden brown. Enjoy!

Chicken Casserole

Ingredients:

Chicken Cooked and shredded
1 Can of cream of chicken soup
1 container of sour cream
1 container of ritz crackers
1 stick of butter melted

Directions:

Cook your chicken and shred it and put it in a bowl. Add in your cream of chicken soup and sour cream and mix well. Put it in a baking dish. Now crush a tube of ritz crackers and top the cream mixture. Melt your butter and drizzle it over the crackers. Bake at 350 till its bubbling. Enjoy!

Chicken Kabobs

                                                                         





Chicken Kabobs 

Ingredients:

4 chicken breasts cubed
1 can of pineapple chunks drained
2 Green Peppers cut up
1 onion chopped
Kabob sticks
Jar of Teriyaki Sauce

* If you are using wooden sticks make sure you soak them in water first. *

Directions:

Cube up your chicken and put them in a bowl. Pour in your teriyaki sauce and let it marinade.  Next cut up your peppers and onions in chunks. Drain your pineapple. After its marinaded assemble your kabobs. Chicken, pineapple, peppers, onion and repeat. Bake them in an oven at 400 degrees for an hour till done.

Cinnamon Roll Bread

                                                                     





Cinnamon Roll Bread

Ingredients:

1/2 C Warm water
2 1/4 Tsp Yeast
1 T Sugar
1 1/2 C Warm Water
4 C Flour
3 T Sugar
2 tsp Salt

Filling:

1 stick of softened butter
1/2 C sugar
3 T cinnamon

Glaze:

1/2 C Milk
1 1/2 C Powdered Sugar

Directions:

In a bowl put in your warm water, yeast, and sugar. Mix it a little and let it sit for 5 minutes. Once your yeast has bubbled then had your 1 1/2 cups of warm water, flour, sugar and salt. Mix it up till it forms a ball.  You do not want it wet but not dry either.  Put it in a greased bowl and let it rise for an hour.  While it is rising, you can work on the filling. Mix your sugar and cinnamon together.  Once your bread has risen and doubled you will put it on a cutting board with flour. Cut it into two loaves. Flatten out one of them to form a rectangle. Take your softened butter and spread it over the dough. Then take your cinnamon and sugar mix and sprinkle it heavily over the dough. Next you will roll up the dough starting at the bottom rolling towards the top. Do the same for the second loaf. Take two loaf pans and spray with nonstick spray. Take one loaf and place it seam side down, do the same for the second loaf. Put it in a warm spot to rise for an hour. Once its doubled in size put both in the oven at 350 degrees till the bread is golden brown. Take it out and let it cool before you remove it from the loaf pan. When they are cooling, mix up your glaze. Remove them carefully from your loaf pans and drizzle the glaze on top. Slice and enjoy!

Cornflake cookies

                                                                     


Cornflake Cookies

*This is not my recipe it is just a recipe I grew up on*


Ingredients:

2 T of Crisco

2 T peanut butter

1 2/3 C m&ms

3 C cornflakes


Directions:

Melt your peanut butter and Crisco together in a big pan. Add in your M&Ms using a metal spoon to crush them. Make sure it's all crushed and melted. Once it's done add in your cornflakes. Do not crush the cornflakes. Once it's done scoop them out onto a wax paper. They will harden as they sit. This makes about 15 cookies.
